Some of my earliest memories involve riding bicycles – the sheer joy of receiving my first bicycle or riding through the neighborhood with my friends until the streetlights came on. It’s a two-wheeled vessel of independence, self-expression, and introspection.
There isn’t a right or wrong type of bicycle, nor do I think “good” bicycles are always lightweight and expensive. My custom Retrofiet cargobikes are an affordable way to enjoy a car-free lifestyle, while my Freakbikes scream “Fun!”.
